Open a track

Open a source or translated caption track from the video workspace. Select a segment to inspect its text, speaker, and timing alongside the video. Review the source transcript before translation: corrected source text gives the next job better input.

Edit text and timing

Select a segment and press Enter to edit its text. Use the timeline and segment timing controls to align captions with speech. Split long segments, merge adjacent ones, or adjust speaker assignments when needed. Find and replace is useful for repeated names or terms.

Save before leaving

Click Save or press Ctrl/⌘ + S. Changes are not automatically saved. Save before switching tracks or closing the page; the editor can warn about unsaved changes when switching. Edits are stored on the selected track, while its generated source content is preserved. A save does not create a new historical version every time.

Editing a dubbed track

Changing text does not automatically rebuild speech. Save your edits, then use Regenerate for affected segments and listen to the result. See AI Dubbing and Exporting.
