What a workspace contains

A workspace groups videos, generated language tracks, collaborators, and YouTube connections. Select the intended workspace before adding videos or starting work. Use separate workspaces for projects or teams that need different content and membership.

Workspace billing

A workspace uses an associated billing account. New workspaces can share the owner’s personal account, so creating a workspace does not necessarily create a new subscription or independent credit pool. Dedicated workspace billing separates its billing account and subscription. Check the billing account shown in settings before purchasing credits or changing a plan. Members who can submit jobs use that account’s available credits. Credit reservations from queued work also affect the shared balance.

Collaborators and channels

Invite collaborators from Team settings and assign a role suited to their work. Subscription access and plan limits can affect invitations. A workspace can connect multiple YouTube channels within the applicable limits. A connected channel is needed to publish supported results to its videos.

Ownership and billing responsibility

Workspace ownership and billing management are related but distinct. Transferring content ownership does not mean every billing responsibility automatically moves with it. Review the relevant transfer and billing settings before handing a workspace to another person. See Inviting Collaborators, Roles and Permissions, and Plans.
