Choose a role for the work

Workspace roles control access to content and team-management controls.

Role	Typical use
Owner	Owns the workspace and manages ownership
Admin	Manages collaborators and performs localization work
Member	Starts jobs and edits localization results
Viewer	Reviews workspace content and results

Choose the least access a collaborator needs. An invitation can assign Admin, Member, or Viewer; ownership is handled through a separate transfer flow.

Team management

Owners and admins use Team settings to invite collaborators and manage non-owner membership where controls are available. Subscription access and collaborator limits also affect invitations. Use the role selector on a member row to change access. Workspace ownership is not assigned through that selector.

Billing responsibility

A role alone does not describe every billing permission. A workspace may use a shared personal billing account or dedicated billing, and billing-management responsibility can differ from workspace membership. Check the account and management controls shown in Billing before changing a subscription or transferring responsibility.

Changing membership

Changing a role changes the collaborator’s available actions. Removing a member ends their workspace membership while leaving workspace content in place. For steps, see Inviting Collaborators. For the relationship between workspaces and billing accounts, see Workspaces.
